Being the noob that I am at triggering, I can't find the
  • Herochosenbyplayer[(Player number of (Owner of (Sold unit)))] Equal to True
trigger. Can anyone help?

Howdy man! I don't know if it is too late (10 years almos lol) but it should go like this:

Boolean Comparision (the first one from the menu of conditions)

(Variable created before with Ctrl + B, Boolean type array size 12)
Next field is:

Function - Player Number of triggering unit. Click on triggering unit and change function to "Owner of Unit". Click again on triggering unit and change it to "Event response - sold unit"

And that should do it
