I'm not saying that it should be the eighth wonder of the world. Look, my campaigns are crap, but anyone who has used the world editor and plays them knows that there is work behind it, even if the result is mediocre, the work is noticeable. The problem here is that it seems that everything is done with the law of least effort, I mean, in another post you told me that you don't use custom models because you don't want to be adding them... It's not that the level is low, which it is, but that you don't put effort into it and that's very noticeable. If spending 20 minutes looking for and importing models seems like too much work, how do you even consider making custom races?
Regards.
Wow, if your campaign is crap, then my works are inside the depths of sea terrible

I know seeing people giving negative reviews can be very infuriating, but when you properly look into it, they also offer advice on how to improve it.
For example,
@Fyar recommended cinematic. I'm sure it doesn't have to be top quality like some of the prominent campaigns, just a short cinematic, which of course you can slowly learn, to improve your map. There are tutorials here or over at YouTube, even
@Turnro created a tutorial at YouTube for making cinematics.
As a person who have crafted at least 3 custom factions (Night Empire, Last Revolt, and Phoenix Flames) along with several maps with uncommon concepts, I would say that mapmaking is like a marathon and we improve over time.
If you treat it that people must accept your work by first release with high praise, you won't get anywhere with your map. Famous maps like Legends of Arkain, Sunken City, Blades n Gore, Gaia Retaliation, Malfurion Quest, Battlefield DON, and even the infamous DOTA have TONS of updates as the authors learn new skills to improve their work to the next level they can deliver. Even smaller maps like my Night Empire had like 10+ major patches to get to where it is today.
My first released map is done on Feb 7, 2013 and it only got the Useful mark like yours. It has a lot of discussion on how to improve my map and my skill in general which I slowly learn for future maps. I have to learn a lot of things until I can get my first thumbs up from the moderation on July 2014 on Wrath of Lich King map from me and
@Simooy (and that's with the standard of that time). That is over one year of mapping experience to get there. The first map I'd say have decent work is Night Empire, which I released one day before 2017, ALMOST 4 YEARS SINCE I BEGAN MAPPING.
If you won't pour the
hard effort to learn so you can improve the map, then don't expect to earn the praise and support that renown maps earned today. They don't earn it instantly the moment they are released, they earn it with perseverance and struggles.
As
@Resyak said, it doesn't have to be the eight wonder of the world. It is about showing that you have poured the effort to learn, improve, and not afraid to tackle the harder challenges.
