Vibrant and well-drawn art. Axe lantern is amazing. I love the subtle glowing eyes. Highly detailed totems. The colored bands on the weapon and horns fit the skin's theme, but may contribute to visual clutter from afar.

  • Honor of the Waves
That face is weak as fuck. Do better.

  • Sleepy Quillboar
Fancy idea of turning the flail into a lamp. Adorable fur style too! Needs more shading, and a hint of team color.

  • Squash
A vast improvement and a homely style. The vest and shoulders really stand out. Could use more shading on some parts - particularly the legs and the hair. Team color should be more noticeable.

  • Town Mayor
An excellent and creative concept. Very convincing. The choice of lavender / maroon is a refreshing sight. The red parts, however, might be mistaken for team color. Could also use more team color; although I should say the model is very restrictive in that aspect to begin with. Perhaps a team colored beard would have been fun to see.

Lovely entries overall. I feel like I missed the mark, not necessarily because I did that badly, but because y'all themed your ideas so well.
Good job everyone, and good luck! 💓

I didn't really intend for him to have any TC tbh, as I thought of him as an rpg quest-giver. It would be handy though if it was an option for people.
Theoretically, what do you think would be a good replacement for the red? More like violet or a light purple leaning toward blue?

P.S. what do you guys use to do your snazzy work, and please tell me it's free 😇

I was using GIMP but it was painful, or I've read you just have to get used to foreign controls and things not feeling intuitive. Apparently Photoshop isn't that intuitive to the uninitiated either.
But since I discovered that GIMP's Hue/Chroma Shift doesn't even work properly I spat the dummy and I've barely touched it.
How hard is it to Hue Shift lol? Pine tools seems to manage it -_-

btw @Vinz I somehow guessed you'd work gold in there ;P

IMO everyone did something standout vs the others.

Vinz and Yaser's are highest quality in shading, details. Yaser's unwrap would fit in the Sistine Chapel

Bleeq and demongrel lack shading, but do the best job at transforming the unit into a peaceful version by a long shot.

shido's fits into Wc3 the best, even tho shading is lacking on the hair & legs.

kudos all

I use GIMP which is free and a mouse rather than a drawing tablet (because I'm a masochist).
I use Paint.net which is also free and a mouse rather than a drawing tablet (because I'm a moron). :xxd:
Edit: yes, i acknowledge squashy hair and legs are flat but i kinda intentionally let it flat because it's not really matter much of a detail. You don't need much if you mostly looking at his face and the horn.
