@Misha: Always so sceptical!
Look at the stalker model from any starcraft screenshots, then look at this. There is a significant difference. Also, it uses several textures and particles and objects - not to mention animations! - that couldn't possibly have been ripped due to the engine differences.
EDIT: @Misha #2: lol, the texture layout is so messy, it is bound to be my work.
But seriously, due to how light is handled in the SC2 engine, the static map (unshaded) would not have that much directional lighting incorporated into it. On the legs and the "gun" plate, you can see that i have worked to create the illusion of directional light (and specular mapping) by adding a fake gloss to it.
the reason it resembles so well is because it is made through studying pictures of the original model and using the eyedropper tool to recover the right colors.
