I'm not sure what to answer. Original RoC was 1.0. You could (if you wish to have a legal copy) just buy some old copy for a few bucks. They aren't expensive.
Frozen Throne's retail version is something like 1.7, so you can't go below that without using betas, but those were bnet only anyway (so they are dysfunctional now, unless you use server emulators or cracks).

@Techno: Should be easy to do imho. Simply use a version of ReplayKit with support for watching replays recorded with v1.00.

Downloads (exe and datafile):
ReplayKit v1.28 - Browse /Old Releases at SourceForge.net

In your case, you want the datafile (ReplayKitPatch.mpq) v3, v4 or v5, depending on which version of the game is currently installed on your PC (v1.26a, 1.27a or 1.27b).

ReplayKit - Watch replays from ALL patches without annoying map path problems

** Update **

On second thought, this may very probably not work for you 'out of the box', because I now doubt that the retail CD-ROM version of v1.21b includes the assets / data required to bypass the CD check / copy protection needed for v1.00 (or any other version prior to v1.21b) to run.

Any way to see what Warcraft 3 Version 1.0 was like?
Of course, you could also download, install and play the demo version of the game, which is a v1.01 one:

Does it have to be specifically v1.00, and why please?

Also, you might be interested in this discussion about occlusion and trees:
Occlusion isn't working properly.

... not sure it is really a thing, though. @A Void please?
