Many stories happen simultaneously in this fantastic world. Tribes, towns, cities and their inhabitants live in the shadow of a terrible reality. An imprisoned evil returns every 100 years and gains more strength upon its return. Many heroes sacrificed themselves to face him and now it's your turn, champion. Can you save this world once again? Or will you leave others who fight for it to their fate? Only your actions will forge your path.

You can play it in Classic and Reforged.
Recommended players 4 to 12.


This is the first map I created that I've put a lot of time and love into. I wholeheartedly thank this community for the resources and for sharing their knowledge. I have learned a lot in these months and I will optimize this project that I share with you with great affection.


-Select your favorite hero or you can use random selection.
-Use the different skill trainers to learn and develop a build to your liking.
-There are several trainers as well as magical and physical abilities that will adapt to your play style.
-You can purchase items and upgrade them. At recipe sellers you can buy them directly already reforged, but making them yourself is 20% cheaper.
-You can press F8 when in town to access a quick selection of trainers and providers.
-When you are ready, defend a battle line and don't let them destroy the city.

The royal city of challenge, the last bastion that has brought together heroes from various tribes and races to face this deadly enemy that seeks to exterminate life from this world.

-If you fight near the portals, specifically past some stone arches, you will gain a Hero Inspiration buff, allowing you to earn 20% more gold from enemies you kill.

-The city will grant you the following which varies depending on the difficulty selected:
Easy: The city grants health regeneration, mana, and 10 armor.
Normal: The city grants less health and mana regeneration and 5 armor, plus the enemies you kill inside it will grant 10% less gold.
Hard: The city does not grant any benefits but the enemies you kill inside it will grant 20% less gold.

-In the upper right part of the city you can enter random dungeons to face only mini-bosses and obtain rewards, you must be prepared because once inside you will only emerge victorious or defeated.

-You will be able to forget all the skills learned and recover what you spent:
Easy: You recover 100% of what you spent.
Normal: You recover 80% of what you spent.
Difficult: You recover 50% of what you spent.

-When you fall in battle you are transported to the Graveyard where you can see trainers and vendors, you can leave when the resurrection time reaches 0 or by paying a cost according to your level to the Spirit Healer in that area.

-Every 2 battle levels all heroes will face a boss under the enemy's control and prepared.

-The story has 3 endings:
Easy: You must defend the city from the final siege when the portals are destroyed.
Normal: (In development) After defending the city, the heroes venture to the lost lands where the final boss is.
Difficult: (In development) You will have to discover why this evil returns every 100 years and try to put an end to it forever.

-Fixed a bug when getting gold from enemies.
-Chance of getting badges increased from 15% to 20%.
-The general difficulty is reduced in all modalities.
-Fixed correct damage for some spells.

-A multiboard is added that counts kills, gold and emblems obtained.
-Fixed stats provided by food and fruit and changed buff duration from 45 to 60 seconds.

-Fixed correct duration of stats granted by fruits and foods.
-Added temporary random time effects.-When choosing a hero, the hero's proper name will now be announced to everyone.

  1. Several heroes have the same icon in their Taverns.

Same: Boots of Speed, Ankh of Reincarnation, Runa de Arcane, Coronas de los reyes, Runa de Poder Critico, Runa de Battle Fury, Tome de Intellect, Manual de Salud, Tomo de Experencia, Gauntes de Celeridad, Brazales Runicos, Botas de Quel'Thalas, Talisman de Evasion, Runa de Vampiric, Runa de Poder Magico. Some after you buy them, others when they're on the ground.
  3. If the enemy has too many units blocking the path to the base, the coming enemies behind will get near the clutter and get back from their spawn point and remain there. They don't even come with the next wave. Hmm. They eventually moved, not sure if related to the elite forces timer running out but they did.
  4. Enemies still spawn from the place a Demon Gate has been destroyed.

It's a nice defense map with somewhat innovative systems. Each hero however isn't quite unique, mostly being customized with abilities anyone can have. Also, not too many custom abilities.

  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource.   • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.

I completely agree 😅 and sincerely appreciate the time you took to review my project 🥰, I have added the following corrections:

v0.1x
-Add new icons for SD mode support. (Some icons are different when using SD/HD)
-Fixed correct naming of some icons in the enUS language game.
-The attack system has been improved, so that enemy units continue attacking without fleeing and returning.

On the other hand, the mechanics of the game are that enemies will continue to appear until the final attack at level 6.
But I'll add a cave so it makes sense that more enemies can spawn if a hero is strong enough to destroy the portal before the final event.

Once again I thank you for this great review! and bug report and I hope you can continue exploring other features such as the dungeon system, special item leveling, the 11 spell schools (12 skills x School and +2 School under development, Necro and Arcane) with unique abilities, the spell power in general. and elementary. 💪💪💪

Very fun map with great aesthetics and attention to detail. Easy to learn item recipes and a lot of skills to choose for your hero. I also liked the dungeon system. Map is designed in a way that requires teamwork to win and works perfectly with the theme of it.

Excellent map, I like that it has a versatile difficulty so that newcomers can get used to the game mode, it is like an HS but better and more modern.

I have had the opportunity to play the map on several occasions and from the first moment it caught my attention.
The diversity of spells and classes motivates you to experiment different combinations to survive the waves.
I like the different Bosses and Arenas events, because they give more dynamism to the map.
Anyway, congratulations for this great work!
I'll be watching for the next updates and improvements.

I played the map solo first on easy and then on normal, I'm not sure if there was a difference between them, but alas.
I played on the latest version of deforged.

Gotta say, I usually don't like custom maps where I have to choose spells for my hero, and it felt overwhelming at first. But after the first game, I ended up having a blast playing it. In total, I replayed the map 6 times, and it was super fun. At the end, you mentioned that the map is still in beta and doesn't have an ending yet so I'm looking forward to seeing it fully developed in the future. It already has all the basics of a great map, it just needs a good ending with an Epic Boss and some extra features to be fully complete.

~Negatives

- Not a big fan of how most heroes have the same starting spell that increases dmg dealt by a % for some seconds, similar to the Death Knight Hero that has Raise Dead as his starting unique spell, i would love to see each hero having their unique starting spell as well.

- The event close to the end of the game where we fight against the enemy heroes is too easy, the enemy heroes are so weak is laughable.

- There is a problem with the recipes that require the item "sacred relic", the item is called "sacred relic" in the original shop but is named "mortal relic" in the recipes, so that can be a bit confusing.

- I also found that in single-player mode, the map occasionally crashes in the early game. However, in LAN mode worked fine.


~Positives

- I love the map concept and layout, I see you got inspired by other defense maps like X Hero Siege for example, which is not bad, you know what they say "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery", But I appreciate that the map has unique features that enhance the fun factor like the 4 creeping spots in each corner, custom unique spells, cool events, the gladiator arena, and the Boss events.

- The items are well-made and unique, and the recipes are easy to understand and craft. Each item has information on where to find it, which is where most maps with recipes fail to excel. This map has pretty much made the crafting of the recipes as easy to understand as possible which is always the goal, great job with that!

- I really like the Secret Vendor in the Woods. It helps a lot with completing the map and encourages players to explore new areas instead of just sticking to the already explored ones throughout the game, I would love to see more things like that in the map, similar to the vendor and the creep spots, more secrets, secret mini-bosses, traps and quests.

Few examples of quests that can be added to the game:

  • Find and kill 10 Murloc-type creaturs. (500 gold for all players)
  • Find all 4 Secret Vendors (+5 all stats for all heroes)
  • Destroy an enemy tower before the 10-minute mark. (Random High tier item)
  • Ensure that no damage is taken to any allied buildings before the 10-minute mark. (Random High lvl permanent unit)


- I really enjoyed the Gladiator Arena Area, especially the part where you defeat the boss and then have to choose one of the three rewards. It would be great to have different types of rewards, such as besides just items to have also gold coins, wood crystals, and so on.

I think it would also be exciting to have more challenging bosses in the arena, similar to the normal and heroic modes. There could be harder modes like Challange mode or Epic Mode, where players can fight stronger bosses and take risks for even higher rewards.

Yeah like I said, the map is great, I loved it, and my rating is none other than an 𝓢 Tier (Masterpiece) with 94 points out of 100.
