[Campaign] Changeling RPG

Introduction

Changeling RPG will be a 3rd person singleplayer campaign that takes place in a huge war of Terrans and Protoss.
You are a changeling with the ability to absorb DNA, which allows you to morph into almost everything.
You will be able to interact with Zerg, Terrans, and Protoss, while your current appearance decides, if you will be treated as enemy or as friend.

You determine the end of the war!
Will you lead Protoss or Terrans to victory, do you go for peace, or will you even bring the Zerg into the war?

After some break I started working on an ability/talent system.
This is the current (incomplete) talent tree for the changeling (there will also be one for each race).

This is basically what the skill tree shown above already does
It has 3 levels of DNA absorbing (2 for Protoss), and every DNA that is dropped by units will have a minimum level of this talents required, so with Absorb Zerg DNA level 1 you can absorb Zergling and Roach DNA and maybe with lvl 3 you can absorb Queen and Ultralisk DNA.

This is awesome... I mean your character theoretcally can belong to three races at the same time... that's something new...
IUt would be cool if later you could absord some kind of special nanites that would allow you to turn into mechanical creatures... or at least getting inside a terran or protoss machine and taking control of it...

We made a lot of progress since the last update
The game has now a custom questlog, custom inventory system and custom minimap

It looks great. I have a couple questions though.

Did you put all of the grass and vegatation down by yourself or is it game generated?

Does your unit attack automatically when you face an enemy?

Are you planning to add to the quest ui because right now there is a lot of empty space, which isnt a big problem.

Off Topic: I really liked how you created the terrain, it seemed fitting for a 3rd person environment

I have a couple suggestions too.
Add options for camera or an option to reduce far clip because people with bad computers will lag.

Also, i think it would be easier to have hotkeys for some of the abilities like absorbing DNA.

Overall it looks really good.

It is default foilage created by the game

Nope, if you want to attack a unit you have to double click it
(We are thinking about also adding a hotkey for this)

In the final version, the quest texts will be longer, so there will be less empty space

We just started working on hotkeys, and there definitely will be a hotkey for this.

Some new updates:

We worked hard on everything, and finished most basic systems and also the tutorial planet. We are planning to release this planet as a Demo on bnet around the release of patch 1.2 (because of key-press and mouseclick lagg which will hopefully be fixed then).
