Hi,

This started with 1.31, my game doesnt show some of the maps i put in the folder. I suppose ones that are made with the new 1.31 world editor are not showing. All of my old maps and some that i download from hive are shown there.

My maps folder is C:\Users\**\Documents\Warcraft III\Maps\

I tried to put in "Download" folder inside "Maps" but it didnt work.

I do have both 1.30 and 1.31 installed right now but none of them can show those some maps.

Any suggestion for this? Its really bad that i cant play new maps.

Try this directory. C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft 3

I had to put all my melee maps into this other directory instead of Documents > WC3 > Maps and it worked.

Thx for the info

The following path is actually worked for me; i have a 32 bit operating system:
C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\x86\maps

Now the problem for me is; i have both 1.30 and 1.31 . Since the 1.31 patch came with problems like low resoluation and performans issues, i was hanging in single player for 1.30. And since 1.30 patch doesnt have a x86 folder, putting a maps folder right under Warcraft 3(1.30) folder doesnt works.

Before you run 1.30 right click the icon and open up it's file location, and try putting the maps in that folders map folder. Older patches should be using 'Documents > WC3 > Maps' folder, as far as I know. Since at least I only had issues opening up replays cause maps were missing in this latest patch. I'm no expert though, good luck.

That is the same case; it shows most of the maps and all of the old ones but still doesnt work on some of the newly published in hive.

I wonder if those maps arent compitable with 1.30 but i hardly doubt it.

I don't know if this is the problem you're having, but at one point I've upgraded TFT from an earlie version to a newer one, and I could not properly load any maps of a custom campiagn I've played with the previous version, had to start all over, what a shame, hopefully you'll resolve your problem so that wont happen to you

Try disabling file antivirus temporarily to see if the maps appear. In not then try reinstalling the game with it disabled. This sounds like one of those obscure permission bugs.
