Is it possible to open a .w3n file in a world editor? It never shows when I try....

The campaign editor that comes with the WE from TFT is what you use to open campaigns (.w3n)

You'll probably need this:
Quenching Mod
Follow the instructions, then use the "Load Campaign" feature so that all w3n files are playable with Reforged.

You cannot without resorting to third party functionality as Ravager16829 has mentioned. Blizzard have yet to add back custom campaign support to the current version client.

Necroposting on a thread from 2009... "so I can open it" is still fully achievable using the campaign editor, but getting to play those campaigns will require the exact 3rd party modifications Ravager linked.

A sorry...i did not explain it well. I wanted to open it in world editor because I wanted to add and change some models from the original .w3n
To play it I used quenching mod and it worked like a charm
