What exercises can you do at home?

I try stretches and squares but once those muscles have already been exercised they don't get any better there after. I recently started doing chair pose against a wall for my back and side muscles because I work on a construction site. I've also started doing those arm push ups facing backwards against a chair, they work out the back and arms.

what exercises do you do at home and why?

Oh and I want trade secrets. my exercise rituals are cold showers every day and a glass of milk and a segment of garlic every 4 nights

Whenever my nose scratches I usually itch it with my leg partly because my hands are often stuffed with books and partly because I love the feeling of my leg hair against my face. Anyhow I used to be barely able to move my leg to my nose now I can put it all the way behind my head so that's awesome for flexibility I guess.

If you want tips on muscles though I might not be a prime example as I'm 1,8 and weigh 58 kg. (6ft and 128 pounds.)

wow that's super flexible but flexibility has its down sides... you can't lift heavy weights without the greater chance of dislocating something.

I know this because my left arm is flexible and often dislocats

You don't have to tell me on queue I can move my femurs out of joint slight, a tip is don't don't that while walking it looks bizarre as fuck as your entire leg shifts and you'll loose balance completely in your legs. I haven't tried yet though I can assume that doing that while moving down a stairway could prove fatal.

I've lifted 70kgs with a single body part before, I won't say which because it would get me banned.

Nice the maximum I've gotten up to is lifting a ten set of 130 kg with both my legs.

Ha ha fatal, aaa you guys crack me up.

Well as I said, I am a guy who enjoys stroking his face with his leg hair, my sanity has never been quite intact.

no I get the leg facial stroke thing. I like a bunch off odd things.

I like having something warm between my legs, which just sounds creepy, and I like placing the back of my thumb on the cliff of my lip.

these things just make us feel good without any explanations what so ever.

what are your secrets, I mean walking on your hands isn't easy

The secret is to learn to first have a control while standing on arms. When you are able to do straight handstand at first try, then you can move on to walking on your hands.
You need quite strong core and shoulders to be able to walk properly, not fall-walk like a maniac and end up destroying yourself :D
Lean just a liiiitle bit forward and try moving your arms forward as you're leaning. After couple of tries, you will get the hang of it :D

I don't.

I have not exercised properly in 6 years when I quit football. I wont ever exercise by any other means because it's simply boring as fuck.

I tried the One Punch Man exercise once, I almost died
Wasn't that like 100 of pretty much everything, everyday?
(I have not watched that anime, just seen talk about it)

I've heard typing is good finger exercise.

On a serious note, though, don't do home exercises, most of the time you'll do things
wrong, and by extension make things worse, or you'll get no benefit from it.

I'd actually suggest taking up martial arts, especially the beginners classes and every
sort of class that isn't exclusively sparring. Because for one, they'll teach you how to
do the exercise properly, and secondly, they'll keep you motivated.

Other than that, believe it or not, climbing is actually a pretty damn good way of
stabilizing your muscles, that or swimming. Both are amazing in this regard.

you know this thread was never truly answered. I wonder if it's because most hivers are super fat and lazy.

anyhow I find that sword fighting is a good work out. I started using wrist weights and fighting against the noob bukijutsu fighters, and after about 3 days you really being to feel in in your arms and abs...

I try and play as many sports as I can since I don't enjoy working out. I've always been an off-and-on runner. I hate doing it, but I know it feels really good being in shape. I do backpacking in the summer. Usually involves carrying 40-50 pounds up a mountain.

I also work in construction and my upper body stays fit so working out at home is even less desirable. If I stop working in a physical industry, I might try to work out in order to keep the little muscle I have. :p

I mostly just don't give a shit. I suppose I often think people with massive muscles look weird.

Well, wanna get rid of phat? Do cardio. Lot's of cardios. Go run in the morning on an empty stomach for like 30 minutes and try not to pass out :D

Well, I do for biceps bicep curls and pull ups, triceps you have variety of exercises (such as push ups, handstand pushups, tricep extensions with dumbbels, and many more.). I do each part of my body once a week (1 body part per day, 5 days a week, weekends rest days). For my abs, I do them everyday, and I do 3-4 rounds of ab exercises for 5-10 minutes max, no rest inbetween (so you ensure you do your cardio, less rest time, more cardio, more metabolism). Ab exercises, there are also variety of them, you google it. chest, traps, legs...I won't talk about that since you can figure that out by yourself from above examples.

If you wanna get rid of your gut, you gotta do exercises that burn calories (burpiess are very good cardio exercise, running won't get you ripped, but can help in increasing your metabolism). Ummm basically, if you get all exhausted and can't breathe from exercises, that's when you're doing cardio.

I can do over 300 sit ups and v sit ups and sit ups punch right and left
and I can feel my abs in my fat
yet still there is fat!!!!!

I'm going to try these burpiess. I've already tried running, which makes you fit but none less fat. I mean running makes you more able to run long distances without tiring, but the fat remains :-(

that's why I'm looking for the super work out. like reachers but only for my abs. With reachers I've now got legs of steel, and squats tone your butt a little too much.. also those Toto pink girly leg triangle bow things.

so... super work out?

It doesn't matter how much you can do, but are you doing the exercise properly.
You have strong abs obviously. As you are working them, you are working on their strength, but they won't show until you get rid of that fat that is INFRONT of them. That is the reason they aren't showing up.

I suggest you try out those burpiess combined with jumping jacks. Make it 5-6 rounds (if you can), and try not to rest, you gotta build up your metabolism that'll eat out that phat. I know the belly phat is the hardest to get rid of.
Try doing them for some time, month or 2 and see if there are any results.

There is no "super workout", only workouts you do correctly and efficiently.

thanks will do, and yes I've been exercising correctly. that is why I switched from sit ups to v sit ups, cause its very difficult to do incorrectly.

I find that doing ab work outs no longer make my abs sore because they are already well trained. however twisting my hips still hurts my side muscles so that is good.

I'll do those work outs for the rest of the month and monitor the results

Work on your side abs, too, then. Get that core nice and strong.
You don't necessarily stick to these 2 exercises. You can incorporate them into your other workouts, so you have other workouts for strength, and these for cardio.

Great news everyone!

I lost 3.5 kgs!!!!!

how brilliant is that!

I haven't had time to really exercise, so all I've been doing is working out at work

shoveling dirt
throwing bricks

all those side stomach action exercises.

and behold!

3.5kgs!
