Chaos Grom Hellscream

This is my edit of Grom Hellscream. I changed his skin to match the other chaos orcs a bit better, as I found his skin was way too red, I also added his portrait eye glow to his in-game model, and changed the glow from red to green to better match his icon. I added black and gold armour, taken from the Orc Warlock and Thrall, and his gloves are recoloured to better match the his chest straps. I replaced all the silver trim with gold, and I added a gold trim around the head of Gorehowl. I also added the extra VFX from the Blademaster's Bladestorm.

I've also added custom Grom Mirror Image caster and missile files.

Ngl when I saw the preview on the models tab I tought it was gonna be a minimum effort model but it turned out way better than expected.
Great job especially on the mirror image effect wich gets often ignored when doing a blademaster model.
Thanks! I'm very new to WC3 modding. I think I started about 2 weeks ago. I'm really happy with how certain details, such as the leg armour turned out. It took a lot of trial and error, and after a few adjustments this morning I was happy enough with it to publish.

It's a good old-school edit. This could be done with in-game textures only and be more optimized, but for the first edit, it is not bad.
I appreciate the feedback! When I initially started working on it I didn't know how to edit the UV maps and everything like that, but now I might try and see what I could do with my current knowledge

This is a great model, even better, true to the wc3 art style. In recent years, model creators on this site tend to overdesign, and while those models are pretty to look at, and quite a achievement, i find them not usable and very immersion breaking. All in all, truly a great job, and i hope you continue making models!

Oh I just love this! I had a similar edit lying around on my old computer that I always meant to polish and upload, before I lost it to a corrupted hard drive. Like General_Frank said, super old school edit, but in a good way imo! Excellent effort for a first try, eager to see more. ^^
Thank you! I would've loved to have seen your edit, judging by some of the stuff you've published it would have been done extremely well

Thanks! I tend to find that balancing necessary and unnecessary changes and additions is quite hard, for instance adding extra smaller tusks inspired by the WoW fel orcs, and changing the chest to only have one shoulder strap are ideas I considered, but I mainly wanted this to fit in better with the WC3 chaos orcs, rather than it be it's own new thing.

you could make them green, more lore appropriate that way, or just remove the pandas and leave it blank :)
Nothing too specific. Definitely something that looks night elf-ish, especially for his night elf model.
For his post skull of gul'dan model, either the same or something that looks a bit more demonic.
I'll see what I can do, I've got some ideas beyond the warglaives that I'd be interested in trying out as well
