I expected some historically accurate bronze age spearman, but I'm still impressed.

There is no need for custom texture.
His shoulders are attached to chest instead of Arms not like default footman, but it looks natural I assume.

if we want to be fully accurate on this one we will need a helmet that is more close to WOW footman helmet or the cutscene one idk why blizzard draws foomtan like that than gives him bucket helmet in the game...(surely its them being lazy on animating his mouth)

Cool and simple, I'll find some use for it anyway, but it could be better if his arms were unarmored, to give him more "ancient" vibe.

But there is still some room for optimization.
You can add action as a Spear thrower to it.
And make a heroic version with thicker armor.

I love the shade of Bronze on the shield. It was a good idea to make a special crest on the helmet, so the model is a bit hoplite like.
Nice work.

Excellent work. I look forward to more Greek units in the future! Only criticism I could possibly have is if they had a round shield but it is not a big deal.
