Blood Elf Sorceress

I made this skin to replace the general texture used by the Sorceress for TFT, this is the Blood Elf version.
An issue I had trying to find a replacer texture is that they either do too much to the point the Sorceress is unrecognizable, or so little it's not even worth getting.
So this was my attempt at trying to make my version of a replacer texture I want, and I'm pretty proud of what I managed to achieve here, especially with the Kirin Tor symbol.

I really wanted to implement Black into the Sorceress' wardrobe who only had the Red and Gold of the Blood Elves, so the bodysuit was kind of my way of implementing that into her attire.
It also has an added effect of making her more evil looking and more guarded, especially compared to her High Elf version which is less covered up.

Initially I tried doing a lot more with her shoulderpads and crown, but a lot of detail simply ended up being lost and jumbled together when viewed ingame.
As a result, I tried my best to simplify the designs and make sure it was easily viewable from an isometric view.

There is an issue at least in my version of Warcraft where the Blood Elf Sorceress portrait has weird lighting especially around the mouth.
If you're experiencing the same issues my fix was
to simply extract the High Elf Sorceress portrait, retexture the model with BloodElfSorceress.blp instead, and replace the Blood Elf Sorceress portrait with it.

I added an alternate version with a Pheonix Emblem instead of the Kirin Tor Emblem, if you want to use that instead as a replacer, rename it to BloodElfSorceress.blp instead of BloodElfSorceressPheonix.blp.

At first glance this texture is deceptive as it looks just like a simple edit of the Sorceress. However it actually belies a texture with a lot of freehand and changes once you take the time to stop and inspect it. The changes to the crown, the...

So nice! Can you make version with no eyeglow?
Do you mean a version with white sclera?
Because if you're asking for that, unfortunately the way I drew the eyes made the iris look like they're in perpetual shock, it's not obvious with eye glow as it functions more like pupils instead.

A version with white sclera but no iris could work however, let me know if you're interested in that.

At first glance this texture is deceptive as it looks just like a simple edit of the Sorceress. However it actually belies a texture with a lot of freehand and changes once you take the time to stop and inspect it. The changes to the crown, the cloth, the eyes all combine to elevate the original sorceress. The author spoke about wanting to create an elevated texture but which does not lose the original look and feel of the unit and they have achieved this. I would go so far as to say that this texture could replace the original in the game. The style is perfectly fitting with the Warcraft 3 style as well as having appropriate shading and details. The variation in symbols is also a nice touch.

Personally I'll need to fight hard to decide whether to use this texture for Sorceress's or 67chrome's going forward, I'm torn!

I wasnt expecting such an in depth review of my skin so I'm honestly flattered lol

Well the skins section isnt as busy as the models or maps section so I have the luxury of being able to take the time to review things in depth. Sadly as community manager I dont have as much time as I used to otherwise I wouldve given it one of the full reviews I've been able to give other skins but I feel like anything with a decent amount of freehand and effort deserves some effort back on my end :)
