Hello everyone, currently im designing my own map and I am unsure whether I really got carried away or didn't, as my map contains so many high-quality ripped WoW models. The thing is, my map contains ripped models with really high quality textures, some are even comparable to the reforged models both in size and quality, as some of them are over 5MB and they look amazing. However, warcraft 3 is beloved by so many of us, the original, the classic version. So I gotta ask, would it be repulsive to some of you had you met a WoW human based model NPCs in a RPG oriented map, and settlements which contain some superb quality buildings and doodads ripped from WoW?

Depends on consistency.
Either everything is wow styled ground textures included in which case it is fine or everything have a WC3 style(again fine).
if it is either remastered models(they are critically ugly) or if the wow models are next to WC3 models then it is not fine for me.

I use lots of wow models in my maps, you just gotta know what models goes well with the other models. Take some screenshots of your map then I will tell you if I like it or not.

Done, I added plenty of images to my media, you can check them out there if you want. Thanks for replying guys :)

What's up with the giant barrels here? also the roofs with the yellow straw roofs are out of place since they're low quality.

You should really look into getting a replacement for those trees. Check out Talavaj's fir trees from his packs. Also you shouldn't use those Gilneas reskinned Warcraft III houses. Get some proper high quality houses or use Talavaj's pack to build some of your own.

The rock in the top left is low quality, you should change it out. Check LongBowMan's rocks on xgm.

What's up with the huge low quality tree stubs? And the random potato bucket between all the giant crates? Scale your stuff properly, and place doodads logically. And please get some other models for the critters. @YourArthas has some nice high quality critters in his Warcraft III rebirth pack that can be found on modbb.

More low quality Warcraft III stuff, change it out.

You should replace the house with the white roof and the treasure/trash piles around it.

Low quality hay stacks, maybe look into B2M's hay piles. Also low quality horse and critters. There's a high quality horse in @APproject's The Struggle map. There's also a high quality horse in @YourArthas Rebirth pack if you know how to edit models (it has some pack stuff on it).

Low quality crates should be removed.

What's up with these horribly overscaled HOTS road rocks? Scale them down and place more of them. If you don't place them right they will just look out of place.

Random low quality peasant should be replaced.

Low quality house in bottom right should be replaced.

What is that random low quality model with the spear? It looks out of place.

The fighting dummies should be replaced. There's a high quality one in B2M's package. Also replace that cart, Talavaj has better carts. And the low quality houses.

So in general I think you need a lot more consistency. You need to gather far more resources and scour the internet more to find all the right models. Then when you have a good chunk of models you need to sit down and go through all of them, and choose which ones to use and which ones to not use. Don't use low quality models together with wow models. Also the ground needs some more work with the tiles, and should have more appropriate foliage. There's a grass model by @Fingolfin somewhere out there which looks really nice, and some flowers in Talavaj's packs along with some other bushes. The foliage and trees you have now feels kinda mashed together and some of it doesn't fit at all.
