[Spell] Steal Item spell

Hello guys, the spell of the item Wand of Mana Stealing steals mana. I wanna make it steal life. The problem is that when i set Life converted to Life to 100, it does 100 damage to both caster and target instead of dealing 100 damage to the target and healing the caster.
Is there a solution with "Steal" spell or should i just use another spell like "Life drain"?

Usualy ''steal'' spell does convert points (health or mana) from a target and give it to a caster without causing damage to the caster? Are using in it for a trigger spell?
Otherwise, I don't remember the name of that healing machine of the undead it has an ability that may look the same As you wanted.
