Hello, I want to export a default warcraft icon for editing but all the solutions on how to do this point an the unavailable image extractor. I tried looking into 'image extractor ii' but I couldn't find a way to use to export icons. Is there a way to export the default warcraft 3 icons?

Well, first you want to use Magos' to extract the wc3 icons from the mpq.

Then you open the .blp's in BLP Lab and convert them to .tga format, keeping their alpha channel.

Now you open the .tga in a tool like Photo Shop or GIMP (freeware and nearly the same as PS, at least to get started) and make your changes there.

After saving your edited .tga icon you convert it back to .blp with BLP Lab or use Button Manager to add different icon borders and save it as .blp there.
