I used to be a fairly active member of wc3campaigns and wc3sear.ch a while ago (Look at my join date if you want proof). I'm the author of the (regrettably unfinished) Shadows of Teldrassil cinematic map series.

First off, if you DO remember SOT, rest assured that the project has not been abandoned. It is likely however that the series is going to be redone as a WoW-based machinima some time in the future when my resources and skills can do the project justice.

In the mean time, keep an eye out for a slightly less ambitious project called "The Thaenor Chronicles"
