I am currently in the process of trying to set up my VISTA computer with my APPLE router so that i can host warcraft 3 games. I remember several years ago, i had much trouble figuring out how to host on my old computer, which ran on XP. And i know their is alot of information out there on how to host with various machines, but its not organized well at all. I was thinking, since the hive workshop is already a warcraft 3 powerhouse, perhaps their should be a section on warcraft 3 hosting under the Forums section? Users could post up their individual problems with thread titles in a useful format such as "OS - router - virus protection". In my case it would be "VISTA 64 - Apple Airport Xtreme - AVG".

This might bring some organization and peace to the madness of trying to set up ones port correctly. A couple years ago i had a very frustrating time trying to set up my ports, which eventually i got. And now im doing it all again, only with the dreaded VISTA. And it is much preferred not to have to use a bot hoster like Ghost ++.

However if this idea isn't taken well by the community/admins, then whateves.

the moderators (like you) would know alot more about the need/desire for such a topic and wether or not it should have its own sub forum like Computer Tech or in computer tech.

I suppose one such as myself could just use Computer Tech.
