Traitor Knightess

This bundle is marked as awaiting update. A staff member has requested changes to it before it can be approved.
Hi, original is from 2006 Great Troll War dead mod but it was unfinished and unanimated model, now it has animations and added portrait.

Update 25.03.24: Sanity check (Model)
Added in-game screenshot, origin ref and animation spell throw (stun kick or whatever); changed death sound - demoness to warlock (cos it sounds neutral, I am too lazy to make male version); removed silly felguard looking like attack; improved attack slam where left arm was hanging and axe swings a bit higher now(previously it was knocking down).

Hi Gree-D, love that cat profile. Issues that need fixing. -You do have permission from TerranUp16, right? -Fix portrait backdrop. The glow should center on the camera. -Add all required attachments and event objects. -Add collision -Lacking Decay...

As the guy who originally worked with TerranUp16 to compile & release the dead GTW mod, I'm very pleased to finally see people digging into the unfinished resources & finalizing them for wider usage. Sick model to pick, too; very awexome knight. Love the unique "Death/Decay" anim where it's just kneeling there, too proud to fall to the ground even in death.

Yeah, I have a question about that. How come some of the models were never given bones, let alone their own animations?

Issues that need fixing.
-You do have permission from TerranUp16, right?
-Fix portrait backdrop. The glow should center on the camera.
-Add all required attachments and event objects.
-Add collision
-Lacking Decay Bone
-Lacking gut-mesh
-The legs and feet often jerk, twist, and bend unnaturally. Animation needs more work.
-Noticeable clipping issues. Shoulder spikes often clip into the body. The pelvis and the belt frequently clip, especially from the backside.

Hello, I believe it's open source material because it was abandoned since 2006. If not, to contact him, I tried to create account on yahoo@mail but its blocked for me, instead used @mailru and got this(screenshot). If anyone can contact him irl to inform about usage of his stuff Ill appreciate that.

According to the rules, you either get permission (like you say) or at least give the original author credit for using their resource, the latter in which is chief regardless. Now, if the original author is still online and active, then of course you pay that user a visit for permission.
For all anyone knows, TerranUp16 has been gone for so many years, so it's likely the project is truly abandoned. I've seen threads where he says he's given up on the GTW project.

Are you talking about this ?
Submission of resources consisting of or containing parts of material made by another member of the Warcraft 3 modding community without substantial modification requires proof of the author's documented and verifiable permission.
  • If the original author is not active on the site, we can help. Please post in Staff Contact and we will assist you in reaching the author. If we are similarly unable to do so, you will in most situations be granted permission by the staff. However, the author may return later. Search for "DMCA takedown" to read more.
Always ask/look for permission. If you are unable to do so, don´t panic, just contact staff. It might be a better idea to do that before you start working on the model or upload but no harm done. The worst that can happen is that the original author does not like anyone editing his work, meaning all you have accomplish will be for nothing.
